Lets go play outside..time to come in, it is snowing!

Yesterday was so nice! The weather was so lovely that we all decided to stay outside most of the day(with the exception of William because he was sick) The temp. was like in the 60s or something!It was marvelous! We played on our barn roof and then we just hung around. It was fun!
Then today- it snows! That is exciting because tomorrow we don't have school!


Here we all are playing on the barn-except me and William. Me because I am taking the pictures and William because he is sick.

It was so warm that we didn't even all wear shoes!

How about here? I would rather not, so I redid a room in our basement (that is were the basement part of the name comes in- the next post are where the pink comes in)This is where pink meets the basement.

This is my awesome bed- my dad built it for me- it swings!! I got this for V-day. I like it because it is pink.




The recipe part of Fun Monday

Okay, so this is like the best cake ever!! It makes a perfect after school snack. This also make a perfect cake to take to a party or, like us, a treat to make on a Sunday afternoon. We loooooove this, even Harrison likes it!! So how you make it is..........

1 Yellow cake mix
1 stick of melted butter
1 egg
you mix all of these items together and then pat into the bottom of a greased 9 by 13 pan. This will serve as the bottom of the cake and taste very good.

1 8 ounce thing of cream cheese
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick melted butter
1 pound powdered sugar
Beat the cream cheese till it is smooth, then add the eggs, vanilla, and butter. Mix well. Then you add the pound of powdered sugar and mix well again. Once you have done all of this, you need to spread it over the top of th cake batter that you have already put in the 9 by 13 pan. Then bake 40-50 min. the center should be a little gooey.

16!!!!


Amazing
It is pretty darn crazy to have a 16 yr. old in the house!! I can't wait till he gets his drivers license!! It will be so cool to have a brother that can drive me around to anything I need...if i remember to ask nicely. Congratulations William!! ( I will post pictures from his family party later)

Fun Monday

Every day as I go to work, I see things around me that
make me laugh. Usually these are in the forms of signs. So take your camera with
you as you go about your business and take a picture of the things that make you
laugh along the way (but it doesn't necessarily HAVE to be a sign).



That is the assignment this week. I don't have a picture, but I thought that this was funny. On one of the highways there is a billboard that says
"alcoholism, there is hope ahead"
Then the very next billboard( you can see it from the first billboard) says
" Vine Creek (is that the name?) Winery, next left"
I thought that that was kinda funny b/c they meant the first one to be for you to stop drinking, but then it made it look like they wanted you to continue drinking, I thought that it was pretty weird.

Wiiliam's Present from G.ma

Tomorrow is Williams b-day, he will be 16 years old, yes that means that all of you that drive need to be very careful because he might be getting his drivers license!! For Williams birthday from g.ma and g.pa William asked for some money because he was saving up for a car, so what do they get him? well, money of course! but how much? Well they decided to put a decent chunk into his car payment.

This is the whole Riches family (only one generation) They were all dressed up in old-thyme clothes and had this picture taken, one of the boys in this picture is on a mission and one is supposed to get his mission call sometime this week!! congradulations!!

Okay so today, Sunday, I woke up and went to church early with my dad. The reason that i went to church early with my dad is because I got to go to the Cookville Ward with the Riches!!! We have had so much fun!! These are all pictures of Lindsey Riches. She is AWESOME!!! I couldnt figure out how to upload more pictures than this, so I am going to post another post about Megan Riches.
