This week sounds like it might be fun!Robinis hosting this week, and here is what she says...
please share words that inspire and motivate you--brief or bloviatory, silly or serious, from great world leaders to last night's Comedy Central...from a Hallmark greeting card to your favorite book. Choose one, choose many; let the quotes stand on their own or tell where you first read or heard them and how they affected you. There's a lot of leeway with how this topic can be handled.
Here is my quote
"In three words I can tell you everything that I have learned about life - It goes on."
I was on someones blog- don't remember who- and I saw this little thingy. It said that if I went to this certain site it would tell me what education to be in to be able to understand my blog, this is kind of weird because I am only in Middle School, yet this is what my blog is rated
okay I have not posted since we left for Disney World. A couple of things have happened.
One thing that happened is that my contest is over and Michelle won!! congratulations! your package will be arriving soon.
Another thing is that we got back from Disney World- It was awesome! You know how on some of the rides they take your picture? well, they do. Anyway my grandfather bought us a POSTER SIZE!!! picture of us on one of those rides. We are going to put it above our bathroom. Lucy joked that now when people are sick they might have an easier job throwing up! head over to my moms blog to get the full story of what we did there.
William is trying to find a job- way to go, and hopefully you can find it!
Lucy and I had our birthday on Tuesday March 25. I got an Ipod video, efy (a cool camp), a shopping trip, a necklace, a towel, and some candy.
Lucy and I got to go shopping in Murfresboro yesterday and stay the night at Gretchen's, she has pictures.
I got an award!! It is pretty darn exciting!
Well, that is about all that happened here lately.
*This is a sticky post, go down for more up to date post!!*(Fun Monday, and taggs are down a little bit)
Okay, I am soo excited. I am going to have my first giveaway. What you will get is a surprise (just remember that I am a PINK basement dweller). Everybody has a little bit of a creative side to them, and this is were you have to use it.
Here are the rules.
1. When you stuff a pillow, you use stuffing. The other day I was making a pillow and didn't have any stuffing. So what did I use? (Well, nothing. I just put it away to finish later.) The assignment is to come up with something outrageous to stuff a pillow with. No stuffing, No liqiuds. Other than that though there is nothing that you can't stuff your pillow with. Keep in mind that you do not have to stuff a pillow to make sure that it works- just make it sound like it would work.
2. You have to put a post on your blog saying how wonderful I am, and don't forget to metion that I am giving something away. I will check to see that you put a post on your blog, if you do not have a blog then please say so in your comment.
The drawing will be held on Tuesday, March 25- because that is my birthday.
Anyway Swampwitch is hosting this week and here is what she says...
Choose a topic/theme and make an alphabetical list of words, phrases, photos...however you want to share your topic/theme.
Topics can range from pet-peeves, vacations, people who have influenced your life, jokes, favorites, philosopher's quotes/sayings, birds, flowers...anything. The sky is the limit. Your ABC list can be depicted with words, photos, illustrations... You are limited only by your imagination. Be funny. Be serious. Be creative. Be sarcastic. Be there, or be square.
And, yes, of course you may bend the rules. Just entertain us. If you can't do all TWENTY-SIX, do as many as you can. (If you have kiddos, let them join the fun and help with the list. Make it a family, brainstorming session
Okay, It is possible that I will not be posting for about a week or so. My Grandparents are taking us to
Guess where
Disney World I have some questions for those of you who have been to DW- are the best rides there? Does anyone know? We will be leaving on Monday and will not be coming back until Friday.
In this next one I am talking about the boy in a terrible need of a hair cut.
No, it is not that there hair is almost the same length, though that is a good guess.
It is that they are both gifted- really smart. William has known since about 6th grade, but Molly just found out today. She is very excited! Congratulations Molly!!!
the i.t. guy is hosting this week and this is the assignment this week....
I need YOU (yes, the wonderful YOU!) to pick 5 memorable lines from 5 different movies (if you could tell us which character said it and to whom, would be a bonus)...and tell us to WHOM (who in the people in your life) you could have said those lines.
Here are my 5..
"But my lips hurt real bad!" Napolean Dynamite
"As you wish" The Princes Bride
"Don't Worry, everything will be alright!" I don't know what this is from, but I hear it all the time and I know that it has been on some movies.
"Just make yourself a dang quessa dilla!" Napolean Dynamite (I don't think that I spelled that right, but who cares?)
"If I'm not out soon, that means something bad has probably happened" Nancy Drew
It was an exciting day! Mom and William went to go and look for Williams keyes agian where he played paintball, this time though, they took a medal decter. Well, me, papa, dad, and william have all looked for his keyes at the exact same place that mom looked once and found them. What is it that moms have that enables them to find lost stuff? I don't know, do you?
That's right, he got a car!!! It is a black Nissian Sentra. This is not Williams exact car, but it looks just like it. I couldn't get the pictures of his car to load onto blogger.
So William got his car on Friday. Then guess what he did on Saturday? No, he did not take it for a sweet ride. Come on, keep guessing.
Well Saturday morning he went and cut some wood for the rest of winter.
Then he went and played paint-ball with his friend in the woods.
Then he went to the friends house and played.
During that time, something was lost, but what?
I'll give you a hint. You have to have this to use the car.
Yes, he lost his only set of keys. These are not just keys that you can replace for like $10. Oh,no these are keys that cost about $100 to replace!!
Okay, so we have looked in his room, at the spot where he played paintball, and at the friends house, anymore ideas?
